This checkout amount is a customs deposit calculated from the delivery country, product value, shipping cost, HS classification and manufacturing origin.
- Import VAT or equivalent destination tax, where applicable.
- Estimated customs duty or tariff.
- Royal Mail’s PDDP handling charge.
Royal Mail and the destination customs authority make the final assessment after dispatch. CMMME absorbs any shortfall and refunds any material overcollection, so you should not receive an unexpected customs bill at delivery.
