For simple address changes or individual CV edits, Engine Driver can be convenient.
For more detailed decoder setup, JMRI DecoderPro is usually better because it provides decoder profiles, labelled settings, and a more complete programming interface. DCC-EX documentation notes DecoderPro as the recommended route for comprehensive decoder programming.
