Troubleshooting
After connecting and selecting a locomotive, use the power control in Engine Driver. The DCC-EX guide shows the power icon turning green when track power is on.
If the throttle is greyed out, select a locomotive first. If the locomotive still does not move, check that:
- Track power is on.
- The locomotive address is correct.
- The locomotive is on the MAIN output, usually output
A. - The track and locomotive pickups are clean.
- There is no short circuit or overload.
