Troubleshooting
Use the programming track where possible.
Typical process:
- Place one locomotive on the programming track connected to output
B. - Connect Engine Driver to the CSB1.
- Use the DCC-EX programming features in Engine Driver.
- Read the current address if available.
- Write the new short or long address.
- Move the locomotive to the MAIN track.
- Select the new address in Engine Driver and test slowly.
If the address change does not work, check whether the decoder needs long address mode enabled, often controlled through CV29.
