Should I update CSB1 firmware before first use?

Not normally. If the CSB1 was supplied ready to run, start with the installed firmware and confirm the system works first.

Consider firmware updates later if:

• You need a newer DCC-EX feature.
• CMMME or DCC-EX support recommends it.
• You are comfortable backing up and changing configuration.

If you are unsure, contact CMMME before updating.
